Make a reservation with an Expedian Holidays advisor
Tell us the route, the dates and who is travelling. An advisor prices the full fare with taxes and carrier charges included, reads you the fare rules, and books it while you are on the line.

Help with your Expedian Holidays booking
Make a reservation with an Expedian Holidays advisor
Search your route above or call . The advisor states the total before you pay, explains what the fare allows for bags, changes and refunds, and emails a confirmation with the airline record locator and e-ticket numbers once the ticket is issued.
What to have ready before you call
- Each traveller's full name exactly as it appears on the passport or government ID used to fly
- Date of birth and gender as shown on that ID (required by TSA Secure Flight for US flights)
- Known Traveler Number (TSA PreCheck, Global Entry) or Redress Number, if you have one
- Passport number, nationality and expiry date for international trips
- Frequent flyer numbers, so the miles post to the right account
- A payment card, ideally in the name of one of the travellers
A reservation is not a ticket until it is issued
Airlines create a reservation record (a PNR) as soon as seats are held. The seats and the price are only secured when a ticket is issued against that record. Until then the fare can change or the seats can be released.
We issue the ticket when you pay, so the price you approve is the price you get. If you want time to decide, ask the advisor whether the airline offers a fare hold on your route. Some airlines offer a paid hold, and US DOT rules let airlines meet the 24-hour requirement either with a free cancellation window or with a 24-hour hold at the quoted fare.
When calling us is worth it, and when it is not
A person adds the most on trips that search boxes price badly: open-jaw itineraries, mixed cabins, travel with a lap infant or an unaccompanied minor, and medical or mobility needs.
For a simple domestic nonstop, the fare we see is often the same public fare you see on the airline's website. If booking direct is cheaper, the advisor will tell you.
How a reservation works
- 1You give us the tripRoute, dates, number of adults, children and lap infants, and the cabin you want.
- 2We check live availabilityThe advisor reads the airline's own seat inventory through the Amadeus global distribution system, the same source airline reservation desks use.
- 3You hear the total firstBase fare, every mandatory tax and carrier charge, and any Expedian Holidays service fee, quoted as one figure.
- 4We read the fare rulesChecked bags, seat selection, change rules and refund rules for the exact fare family you are buying.
- 5You approve and payis the merchant of record, so that is the name on your card statement.
- 6The ticket is issuedYour confirmation lists our booking reference, the airline's six-character record locator and a 13-digit e-ticket number for each traveller.
Important information
Make a Reservation: frequently asked questions
How do I know my seat is confirmed?
Look for a 13-digit e-ticket number on your confirmation. The first three digits identify the airline. A booking reference without a ticket number means the reservation exists but has not been ticketed.
Can I reserve now and pay later?
Only where the airline offers a hold on that fare. Many do not. The advisor will check before quoting so you are not relying on a hold that does not exist.
Does the cardholder need to be travelling?
No, but if the cardholder is not on the trip we may ask for a signed card authorisation before ticketing. This protects you from fraudulent use of your card.
Can I check the booking on the airline's website?
Yes. Use the airline's record locator from your confirmation and the traveller's last name on the airline's manage-booking page.
